A Thriving Place Therapists
Troy Marks, TLLP (He/Him)
Clinical Therapist
Hi, I’m Troy.
If you’re the “strong one,” the “coach,” the “fixer,” or the person everyone else leans on, but lately you’re running on fumes, you’re in the right place.
I work with teens trying to figure themselves out, athletes navigating pressure and performance, men who were taught to “just push through it,” couples who love each other but can’t seem to communicate, and individuals within the LGBTQ+ community looking for a space where they can show up fully and safely. In short, I work with people who are carrying a lot, even if they don’t always say it out loud.
Therapy with me is real. It’s collaborative. And yes, we might laugh sometimes (growth and humor can coexist). I won’t just nod silently while you spiral. We’ll unpack patterns, challenge
unhelpful thoughts, strengthen communication, and build practical tools you can actually use outside of session.
My background in psychology and nursing allows me to see the full picture of how stress impacts your body, your relationships, your confidence, and your goals. Whether we’re working on identity, anxiety, performance pressure, relationship dynamics, or life transitions, my goal is simple: help you feel stronger, clearer, and more grounded in who you are.
You don’t have to have the perfect words to start. You just have to start.
And if you’re nervous? That’s normal. Most people are. We’ll figure it out together.
